Dan Wright - Moksha Teacher

Dan Wright

In June of 2012, Dan had the good fortune to spend a month exploring Victoria and it’s surroundings. He spent time soaking in the city and hanging out on UVic’s gorgeous campus. On bicycle, Dan went to Sooke potholes, Goldstream Provincial Park and even climbed the Malahat to taste Cowichan Valley wines. Needless to say, Dan fell hard for Vancouver Island but wasn’t sure when he would get the chance to return.

Skip forward three years… After surprising their friends and family with a party that turned out to be their wedding in their home town of Ancaster, Ontario, Dan and Alicia set out on a road trip across Canada. Originally destined for Portland, Oregon, through serendipitous meetings, they jumped at the chance to move (or should it be ‘return’) to Vancouver Island. Dan is super excited to be apart of the Westshore community and hopes to put down some deep roots.

Dan did his Moksha level 1 yoga teacher training in LA in the winter of 2014. He currently lives in Langford with his wife, Alicia and cat, Otis.
